Set in 40 acres of mature tranquil woodland, about 70 miles south of Paris, the lake has had plenty of time to mature over the last 37 years.

The Island Lake is classed as not an easy run water but one where if you work hard at your fishing the rewards are there. On most weeks there are captures of 40lbs and 50+lbs fish and some anglers have had captures into double figures in a week – so anything is possible! Our largest capture to date is 79lb 12oz (in October 2011) so there are exciting opportunities to catch some real heavy weights.

 We are looking to run a mini work party during the week commencing 11th August 2012 and are offering a lake booking at a heavily reduced rate (over 50% discount) in return for anglers who are willing to do some light maintainance work in the day. Either exclusive groups (up to 8 anglers) or individuals can apply.
