Venue Summary
The Island Lake is about 70 miles south of Paris in a small village called Bazoches-les-Bray. It is set in 40 acres of mature tranquil woodland which has had time to mature over the last 37 years.
The lake itself is about 20 acres and has been run as a carp fishery for the last 7 years. The journey to the lake is a bout 4 hours from Calais.
The Island Lake is classed as not an easy runs water but one where if you work hard at your fishing the rewards are there. On most weeks there are captures of 40lbs and 50+lbs fish and some anglers have had captures into double figures in a week – so anything is possible!
